Overnight Aventure
π Have you ever wanted to go on an overnight adventure ride? The Sault Cycling Club invites our members to join in an overnight guided ride!
September 11 & 12
The ride is open to all SCC members, but will be on a first come basis up to 10 riders.Β This will be a rain or shine ride UNLESS it thunderstorms.
Ride Route:

Ride Details:Β
We’ll park at the Searchmont Rec Center and start riding at 10am Saturday. We should arrive back by about 4-5pm Sunday afternoon.
The route is approx 150km of logging roads and ATV/snowmobile trails so gravel bikes or mountain bikes will be necessary.
What to bring: People will need to bring their own shelter and sleep gear, food and hydration. They should have master links and spare tubes at the very least in case of mechanicals with their bike. (I’ll have a toolkit and know-how but I can’t carry spare parts for everyone π)
Things to keep in mind: It’ll be mid-September and may get chilly overnight. There are also potential river crossings so a change of clothes is highly recommended. I’ll be able to start a campfire for us when we stop for the night but folks should have their own cookware for preparing dinner/breakfast.
We’ll be roughing it but I promise good times for anybody with a sense of adventure!
As with the last ride, we’ll keep the pace easy and enjoy the ride – this isn’t a race, it’s a camping trip with bikes. :0D
