Where: Meet at the Voyageur Lodge in Batchawana Bay (approximately 45min north of Sault Ste. Marie)
The Great Batchawana Adventure Ride will introduce you to the backcountry of the Algoma region. The 20km ride is for beginner/intermediate riders. The route features climbs and descents, mud and sand, and some beautiful scenery. The ride has more doubletrack and gravel riding than the other two distances. You will be travelling inland, eventually arriving at the gorge on the Batchawana River. This ride will be lead by local riders. You will get a taste of the beautiful backcountry the area has to offer.
The day will start with coffee and fritters (included) and that will be followed by some great riding and a few surprises. Dinner will be available for purchase at the end of the ride at the Voyageur Lodge. Proceeds from this ride will support local trail development activities in Sault Ste. Marie.
