The Great Batchawana Adventure Ride will introduce you to the backcountry of the Algoma region. The 40km ride is for intermediate riders. The route features challenging climbs and descents, a number of water crossings, mud and sand. This ride will cover some of the same conditions as the longer ride, but in a more easily digestible length! You will be travelling inland, eventually arriving at the Batchawana Falls. This ride will be lead by local riders who have spent years combing the area for riding opportunities and assembled a route to test you and allow you to experience the beautiful backcountry the area has to offer.
The day will start with coffee and fritters (included) and that will be followed by some great riding and a few surprises. Dinner will be available for purchase at the end of the ride at the Voyageur Lodge. Proceeds from this ride will support local trail development activities in Sault Ste. Marie.
