St. Kateri Outdoor Learning Center

St. Kateri is an outdoor learning centre that has a 180 acre parcel of land at the top of Goulais Avenue. Trails at this locations are snowshoed by locals to keep the trail packed for fat biking. You can do your part and “earn your turn” by helping out with these efforts when you can.

To access the trails, park at the side of the road at the top of Goulais Ave across from St. Kateri.

Hike west across the field in front of the St. Kateri building until you see the main trail sign. To your north, you’ll see the entrance to The Bear and The Moose trails.

The Moose – 1.7 km        The Bear – 1.8 km

You can pick up the Voyageur Trail’s white trail markers if you’re looking for a longer ride. This ride will not loop you back, you’ll need to turn around and take the same way out.

Please consider making a donation or becoming a member of the VTA when using their trails.
