What is a Pump Track?

Pump tracks consist of asphalted rollers and banked turns, which are meaningfully connected to form a circuit. The track’s diversity enables a fun, yet safe sports experience even on smaller surfaces. The pump track allows kids to use it with a bicycle or other sports equipment on wheels, but can also be suitable for athletes, because of high physical intensity due to rapid movements.

A pump track is designed to be ridden completely by riders “pumping” – meaning to create momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedaling or pushing.
