Join the SCC in a FUN winter fat bike challenge at Crimson Ridge! Estimated ride time is 1~ hour and is suitable for all ages and rider abilities. Challenge yourself to see how long it takes you to complete the course!
This is the first race of our weekly Fox & Hound Winter Series and finishing times will be used for seeding the next race (no need to worry if you don’t plan to participate in the remaining weeks). Each rider’s time for their lap will be collected and used for the following weeks to determine the rider start time. Slowest riders start first, and fastest riders start last. Points are awarded for finishing positions and the starting positions for the next week are based on the new finishing time (You don’t have to be the fastest to win! 😊) The hound (fastest rider) will get a T-shirt to wear identifying them and start last on the course!
We have 3 additional Fox & Hound dates: February 18, 25 and March 3.
Parent / Child teams are welcomed! If on a team, you ride together.
Requirements: Registration is free to Sault Cycling Club members. A Bon Soo button and a day/season pass to Crimson Ridge trails is required.
