• Volunteers Needed!

    The Sault Cycling Club (SCC) is looking for 6-8 volunteers to run a BBQ during the Salty Marie race on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Hiawatha Highlands. 
     
    The commitment would be that volunteers help out to cover the time of set up, running the BBQ during the race, and/or clean up afterwards (volunteers are not obligated to stay the whole time unless you absolutely want to enjoy all the festivities from behind the grill). Set up commences at 10 am and the BBQ is from 11am-5pm. Clean up will be approximately one hour. 
     
    Roles and responsibilities include: 
    – set up and tear down of the BBQ 
    – organizing/preparing and cooking precooked burgers, hot dogs and sausages 
    – selling food, pop and water
    – handling petty cash
    – promoting the Sault Cycling Club and distributing Club propaganda :-p. 
    – have way too much stinkin’ fun
     
    Looking for volunteers that are interested in helping out on Saturday. If anyone interested also has a Safe Food Handling Certificate this would be an asset. 
    All food/products will be purchased by SCC and any profits will go towards SCC trails and operations.
